1. What do you think of our blog?
What do you particularly like about it? What's especially impressive?
What could be improved? What's missing or could be added?

2. Based on what you've read on the blog (and maybe seen in test screenings in class) what suggestions do you have regarding what we could do to make our Practical Production really successful?
What other things could we include in the production?
How should we go about filming any remaining scenes or editing the footage
during post-production (+ suggestions for music, etc.)?

What i like about your blog...i like the pink hearts which seem to be falling down your page and i like your colourful font and settings.
I think you could improve your production by re-shooting your infamous 'pink' scene and lower the tone of the music so we can hear zaras convo more, and i've seen footage that no-ones seen of you and shadow..i think that could be better if you made it look more realisiic and go to a lively place so we can see that you are going off the rails and doing what you do -'all for a boy'.Also if you use Ciara- Promise which is a good song thats adds to your production maybe for a back up track.

1.the blog looks really nice especially with hearts falling down, the impressive thing is that you've included all the progress reports and we can understand what you're really up to. the other thing which was attractive was the colours used in the blog really girly colours, i think its really good and dont need many improvement, the thing that i suggest is to take some pictures of ur production and put them up in the blog, so the blog looks better and we could see which scenes youre talking about, people that didn't see the footage.
2. from seeing the first footage, i think that the the filming is going good, you could improve the lighting when the students are sitting on the class to make it more lighter because it was dark and we could hardley see the people, the scene of zara talking to mr.Bush was a good scene and what i liked about it, it looked real, you might also interview Zara and ask her about her problems and why is she late to class and howz her boyfriend affecting on her studies, and also mr Bush and ask him about Zara's behaviour.
the music of the background was really good and original when you used the music of ipod, but i suggest that you can change the type of music more like slower music, and i suggest if you can reshoot that scene of the pink bedroom to make look more like a documentary than a movie.
apart from that the blog looks goood and the footage that you added looks good aswell...
good luck for editing

1. I find your blog proves really attractive and therefore nice to read, this is coz of the pink hearts falling which compliments your narrative. Also, you have posted up various relevant pics which is also good and detailed research.
I think to improve it, you could maybe post pics up of your filming in progress.
2. For post production you should use a variety of shots and use a parallel soundtrack

1. I really like the colour scheme of your blog as it's quite girlie and therefore goes with the genre of your practical production. I also really like the pink hearts falling.

2. I think you could add more research up e.g interviews etc and also some pictures of the places you've visited to so filming.

3. I think you should use a variety of shots in your production e.g. Long shots etc and i think you should use a range of parallel and contrapuntel music.

Your blog looks really wicked! I like the way the hearts are falling down( how do you do that?), i also like the colour of your blog, it makes your font stand out.

What you can maybe add in your blog are pictures of where you hvae down your filming so that it makes your blog look attractive!

For your production, you can add contrapuntal music, and use a variety of shots!

Keep up the hard work!

The hearts are annoying, aswell as your latest post. Spend more time writing and researching.

Use a variety of shots, as well as different camera angles.

You could try a variety of music, don't use sterotypical songs, try out a range which complement your production.

Overally, looking good and good luck with the rest of your production

* Your blog looks really good as you have used attractive colours, also the colour chosen such as pink fit in well with your production.

* Maybe spend less time making you blog look attractive and get more research and spend more time on what you’re going to do.

* The songs that you have chosen are very common, you should use tunes which aren’t really know as your production will loose its authenticity. Maybe look at other documentaries and research music that they have used getting more ideas. Try and use a rang of music

* The topic that you are focusing your production on is very girli and im looking forward to seeing it.

* Overall, your blog looks good keep the good work up and good luck...

Nice feminine blog...good research and information and the pictures go well with your subject. I didn't get to see your footage because I wasn't in class though i'm sure you've done well from what others have written...But maybe add a few more pictures to your blog to give ppl a real insight and stuff.
I think your production will work real well if you use the correct music as long as it doesn't overtake your interviews lol...So far it's looking successful!

Overall I think your blog is really good, all the colours used and the pink falling hearts are all very girlie and is totally relevant to your genre.
Try and post up footage and or some pictures of places you’re considering to use.
Sounds like an interesting production- I think you should try and get a variety of shots and angles.

Nice blog - the pink hearts work well as it makes your blog look girly relating to your primary target audience. Also there are some good progress reports and posts are regular.

To improve your blog try to post up a structure of your doc or some story boards so that everything is clearer for you and you can get some advice from other media students.

When I saw your footage in class I was impressed by Zara’s acting! Also thought the scene with all the pink stuff was really effective as it will directly appeal to your target audience. I think you should include some mini interviews with Zara about her day in your doc otherwise it might look more like a mini movie/ trailer. In terms of music if you use popular music you could justify it by showing how the girl is really commercialised and rather fit into the crowd than be unique. Maybe when your character supposedly see’s sense you could play a unique tune as it would represent her breaking away from everything – being independent and free.

Good luck with everything and well done…

WaCkY!! the blog looks really wicked and funky lol! coming along well....loving all the pink and the hearts are cute! :D

i like the way you have made sure that everything looks well and organised...you definitly have some very good information on there and it all makes sense!!

for music i was thinkin u can use mary j b- be without you....cus she says some good lines in that like: " wanna be with you, gotta be with you, need to be with you
I wanna be with you, gotta be with you, need to be with you" happens at the start init! so that could help you in the way of which it shows how much a girl wants/needs a boy! (well some girls) lol!

keep up the good work!

I like the colours used on the blog are the hearts are a distinct feature of your blog - very girly and goes well with your topic.

The progress reports are good but they're not very consistent so at times it becomes unclear what your doing. I think it would also be a good idea to post up the structure (storyboard) of your documentary so that we get a clearer idea of what to expect from your documentary.

A post production idea that i think might look good is that when you show the phonecall conversation zara has with her boyfriend to actually increase the volume when the boyfriend speaks so it places emphasis on what he says... like if he could say something like "I love you"

1. Your blogs quite eye catching and very informative. You've done quite a lot of research to give a greater insight into the production.

2. Try and make use of a tripod all the time and be carfeul about the lighting coz when u filmed the classroom scene it was bare dark.

Very colourful and girly blog! From what i've seen in class its really good so far especially with Zara's acting-lucky girl-you got the chance to scream at Mr Bush! But try to improve the lighting in some scenes and avoid zooms. You should put some loud music in it to show your cahracter being a bit of a rebel.
Good Luck!

Im likin the look of your blogg,, v funky but ur latest posts are a bit hard to read... ur use of colours go well with your topic, all girlyfiedd...

try not using girly songss all the time use some rocky soundtracks to make ur production less typicall... Coldplay and bands like that are good for representing hard times

Good Luck with production

i like the look of your blog as it is relates to the genre of your production, i like the pink hearts falling as the production is about love and all of that..

based on what we have seen in class your footage is really good just try and find sort out the camera quality in some shots which therefore need to be re shot. i think you can add some footage to your blog and more pictures showing what you have done in order to make it more clear.

try and add some more music which relates to the theme of your production. keep it up

Wow! Love the blog presentation. Really pretty and goes with the context of your production. Good stuff!

Watching the raw footage, the classroom scenes could have been re-shot using a tripod (i'm just saying this because I have to write something negative)!!
